What is a County Supervisor?

Ventura County Supervisors are the elected body that make decisions about our local land, air and water, as well as oversee all county health and emergency services. Now more than ever, we can see how vital it is to have strong representation we can trust at the Supervisor level. They have been the body that make a large number of decisions about how we’ve dealt locally with the COVID 19 pandemic.

There are 5 districts in Ventura County to ensure that every area of the county has representation, though it should be noted that once on the board of supervisors, YOUR Supervisor will make decisions that affect the ENTIRE county.

Currently, the District 5 Supervisor is John Zaragosa. He is terming out this year, so this is an open seat. I hope to have your support in the election!
