My name is Carmen Ramirez, and I’m running for Ventura County Supervisor of District 5.
I grew up with my six siblings and enjoyed a semi-rural childhood. My experiences and deep roots to the community have influenced my perspective and values. I learned at a young age the imporatnce of speaking up. I know what it is to work and fight for what you believe in.
I have been leading a life of public service in Ventura County for decades.
I am proud of my work as a legal aid attorney, activist, Oxnard City Councilwoman, and am honored to be your current Mayor Pro Tem.
